1 By Judgment dated 30/11/2018, this Court had dismissed
the appeal filed by the appellant and conviction of the appellant for the
offence punishable under section 307, 326A, 363, 364, 376 of the Indian
Penal Code and under section 4, 7, 8 and 12 of the Protection of Children
from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 was confirmed. Upon perusal of the
Judgment, it appears that inadvertently, the name of the survivor finds
place in the Judgment. There is specific embargo to name the survivor in
cases of rape by virtue of Section 228 of the Indian Penal Code. The same

should be considered as an inadvertent error and the name of the
survivor be deleted from clause No. (iii) of the operative order of the
Judgment dated 30/11/2018. Corrections be carried out in the original
Judgment.
