JUDGMENT:

(per Hon'ble Smt. Justice Kiranmayee Mandava)

The instant appeal is filed, challenging the order in W.P.No.2755 of

2008, setting aside the order of termination from service of the petitioner, and

directing the 2nd to 4th respondents herein to ensure that the writ petitioner is

reinstated into service of the 1st appellant school. During the arguments, it

has transpired that an amicable settlement between the school management

and the employee (writ petitioner) has come about. The learned counsels

appearing for the appellant and the writ petitioner have agreed to inform their

respective clients. The parties have thus arrived at a settlement. To that effect,

a Memorandum has been filed in Court today. The relevant portion of the

Memorandum is as follows:

"The appellants place on record their willingness to pay to the 1st respondent (writ petitioner) an amount of Rs.12,50,000/- (Rupees Twelve Lakh Fifty Thousand only), in addition to the amount of Rs.2,78,864/- (Rupees Two Lakh Seventy Eight Thousand Eight Hundred Sixty Four only), already paid by them.

The 1st respondent (writ petitioner) places on record his willingness to receive the above amount from the appellants in full and final settlement of the issue involved in the present writ appeal arising out of W.P.No.2755 of 2008, as also in the related pending contempt proceedings."

2. The said Memorandum has been placed on record. The Writ

Appeal is disposed of in terms of the Memorandum dated 16.07.2024. No

order as to costs.

As a sequel, pending interlocutory applications, if any, shall stand

closed.
