Learned counsel for the petitioner/A.1 sought time.

At the time of hearing of this petition, the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submitted that due to stay granted by this Court at the inception, trial could not be completed.

In view of the judgment of the Hon'ble Apex Court in Asian Resurfacing of Road Agency Private Limited and Another v. Central Bureau of Investigation (2018) 16 SCC 299, stay is not in force. Hence, the trial Court is directed to proceed with the trial in accordance with law.

Post the matter on 26.07.2023.
