I.A.No.2 of 2022 This petition is filed to grant stay of operation of the decree and judgment in MVOP.No.711 of 2014 dated 18.04.2022 on the file of Motor Accidents Claims Tribunal- cum-VII Additional District Judge, West Godavari District, Eluru.
Contd., Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the award passed by the trial Court is challenged on the ground of liability and also quantum of the amount and as such petition may be allowed.
Since the hearing and disposal of appeal would take considerable time, it is a fit case to grant stay as prayed for on the condition that the petitioner/appellant shall deposit 50% of the amount awarded together with proportionate interest and costs within eight (8) weeks from the date of this order. If the petitioner fails to comply the condition, interim order stands vacated.
