This is an application for condonation of delay of 184 days in preferring the connected appeal.
It is submitted by Mr. Y.N. Vivekananda that the writ petition was disposed of on 20.08.2019 at the admission stage, without giving any opportunity to the applicants to file counter-affidavit, and copy of the order was received on 13.09.2019 and thereafter, requisite information was obtained and advice was taken to file appeal. It is further submitted that in view of the notification dated 24.03.2020 issued due to pandemic, the applicants were under the impression that only urgent matters will be taken up for consideration and in that process, delay had occurred.
No affidavit has been filed by the respondents opposing the prayer for condonation of delay.
Delay is condoned.
Accordingly, this application stands disposed of.
W.A.No.97 of 2021 The writ appeal is allowed vide separate judgment.
