1. Heard Shri Onkar Nath Tiwari, the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. By means of the instant petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has sought issuance of a direction to the learned Civil Judge (J.D.), Sadar, Faizabad/Ayodhya to decide Regular Suit No.1490 of 2021 expeditiously.

3. The aforesaid suit has been filed by the petitioners for a decree of perpetual injunction on 25.11.2021. The defendant No.1 has put in appearance by filing a vakalatnama on 05.08.2024. In the petition, it has been stated that the rest of the defendants are proforma defendants. Although the respondent No.1 has filed vakalatnama on 05.08.2024, the suit has not proceeded any further.

4. Accordingly, the present petition is disposed off by issuing a direction to learned Civil Judge (J.D.), Sadar, Faizabad/Ayodhya to decide Regular Suit No.1490 of 2021 expeditiously, in accordance with law, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties and by fixing dates at short intervals.
