1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned AGA for the State-respondents.

2. The present petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus commanding the opposite party no.2/ Superintendent of Police, Hardoi to take appropriate decisionon the application dated 30.05.2025 moved by the petitionerin the light of Lalita Kumari Vs. Government of U.P. and others: (2014) 2 SCC 1.

3. Considering the fact that the application has already been filed by the petitioner, the petition is disposed of directing the police authorities to take appropriate decision on the said application in the light of judgment of Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari (supra) within a period of two months.
