1. Case has been called in the revised list.

2. Learned counsel for the applicant is neither present nor any request for the adjournment of the case has been made on his behalf.

3. The present contempt application has been preferred for the alleged non-compliance of the judgment and order dated 16.04.2024 passed in Matter under Article 227 No. 1870 of 2024. The relevant extract of the same is quoted hereinbelow:-

"5. On the request of learned counsel for petitioner and without entering into the merits of the case, respondent no. 1 shall make an endeavour to decide the Case No. 3157 of 2023, Computerized Case No. T202304040303157 (Ram Sahay Versus Smt. Kalawati) filed under Section 35(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 expeditiously, after giving opportunity to the parties concerned, in accordance with law, within a period as provided under Paragraph-458 (2) of the U.P. Revenue Code Manual read with Rule 183(4) of the U.P. Revenue Code Rules 2016.

6. Accordingly the writ petition is disposed of."

4. On the other hand, learned counsel for the respondent has filed a compliance affidavit annexing therein the order dated 19.02.2025, deciding the proceedings under Section 35(2) of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006.

5. From the perusal of the compliance affidavit, it is found that the judgment and order passed by the writ court has been complied with.

6. Accordingly, the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous.

7. Notice, if any, is hereby discharged.
