1. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned Standing Counsel for State.

2. The present contempt application is filed with the following prayer :

"This Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to initiate the contempt proceeding against the Contemnor/Opposite Party directing him to appear in person before this Hon'ble Court and punish them for deliberately and willfully disobeying and flouting the judgment and order dated 04.07.2024, passed by this Court in Writ-C No.5784 of 2024, Piyush Pratap Singh Vs. State of U.P. and others, in the interest of justice."

3. Sri Amrendra Singh, learned Standing Counsel, placed before this Court written instructions duly signed by District Magistrate, Lucknow dated 21.02.2025, which is taken on record. Learned Standing Counsel informed the Court that in pursuance of the recovery certificate issued by Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority at Lucknow (RERA), the recovery amount of Rs.39,45,499.82/- along with interest, the total of which comes to Rs.47,49,858/-, has been recovered and the same has been forwarded to RERA vide cheque no.808108 dated 21.02.2025. He further submitted that now no recovery certificate is pending before the District Magistrate, Lucknow.

4. Considering the contents of the order of the writ Court and the written instructions placed bySriAmrendra Singh, learned Standing Counsel, this Court is of the view that since the order of the writ Court has been complied with by the respondent authority therefore, the present contempt application has lost its efficacy.

5. Accordingly, the contempt application is dismissed.
