1. List revised. No one appears on behalf of the accused-respondent. Sri Vijay Kumar Rai, learned counsel for the appellant and Sri Birendra Pratap Singh, learned State counsel are present, who have been heard.

2. The present appeal has been filed by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 11.04.1986 passed by Judicial Magistrate (Economics Offences) Agra in Case Crime No.1205 of 1980, Police Station Etmadpur, District Agra.

3. As per office report dated 10.05.2024, a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the accused-respondent in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 16.11.2021 informed that the accused-respondent - Kanptan Singh has died. The said report has been sent after due enquiry.

4. Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

5. The trial court records, if received, be sent back along with the communication of this order. Office to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge, concerned within two weeks from today.
