2. No one appears on behalf of the appellant to press this appeal despite the fact that there are two learned counsels appearing in the matter.

3. Learned State counsel is present, who has been heard.

4. The present appeal has been filed by the appellant Ganga Singh against the judgment and order dated 22.06.2006 passed by Additional Session Judge/Special Judge (E.C. Act), Shahjahanpur in Sessions Trial No. 606 of 2002 (State of U.P. Vs. Ganga Singh), Police Station Mirzapur, District Shahjahanpur.

5. As per office report dated 25.08.2023 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellant in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 04.08.2023 informed that the appellant - Ganga Singh has died on 24.03.2023. The said report has been sent after due enquiry.

6. Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

7. The trial court records, if received, be sent back along with the communication of this order. Office to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge, concerned within two weeks from today.
