1. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought that Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Azamgarh, respondent no.4 be directed to decide the Restoration/Recall Application dated 23.9.2023 in Appeal No.1578 of 2016 (State Vs. Anisha Bano) under Section 11 (1) of U.P.C.H. Act, 1953 in respect of Village- Mangrawaraipur, Pargana-Nizamabad, Tehsil-Mehanagar, Distict-Azamgarh within stipulated period.

2. This writ petition is disposed of with direction to the Settlement Officer of Consolidation, Azamgarh, respondent no.4, that he shall take endeavour to decide the aforesaid restoration/recall application expeditiously, in accordance with law within a period of six months from today, if there is no legal impediment, taking note of the judgment passed by Full Bench of this Court in Smt. Shivraji & Ors. Vs. Deputy Director of Consolidation, Allahabad & Ors, (1997) 88 RD 562.
