Hon'ble Pankaj Bhatia,J.

1. Present petition has been filed with the following relief:

"i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the opposite parties to pay the amount of leave encashment and arrears of the salary of seventh pay scale along with 18% interest on the amount of leave encashment and arrears of the salary of seventh pay scale for the delayed period up to the date of actual payment is made."

2. Considering the fact that the decision with regard to claims of the petitioner is to be taken by respondent no.3, the present petition is disposed off permitting the petitioner to file a fresh application before respondent no.3 who shall take a decision on the claims made by the petitioner. While doing so, respondent no.3 shall also consider the judgment of this Court in the case of Naresh Chand v. State of U.P. & Ors.; Writ - A No.3051 of 2023 decided on 11.05.2023.

3. The decision as directed above shall be taken within a period of three months.
