Delay in filing restoration application is sufficiently explained, therefore, both applications are allowed.

Delay condonation application in filing present criminal revision is allowed.

Order on Merit

Heard learned counsel for applicant on merit. However, he is not able to show any ground or reason to interfere with the impugned order dated 30.03.2006 within limited scope of criminal revision which has been held in judgment of Supreme Court in Joseph Stephen and others vs. Santhanasamy and others, 2022 SCC Online SC 90.

Accordingly, revision is rejected.
