1. Heard Sri Saksham Agarwal, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Sri Sanjeev Kumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State.

2. Present petition has been filed inter alia with following prayer:-

"To issue a writ order or direction in the form of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 05.08.2021 passed by opposite party No.6 (as contained in Annexure-1 to the writ petition) whereby the representation of petitioner for promoting him to the post of Head Constable Civil Police ha been rejected arbitrarily."

3. Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State does not dispute the fact that the controversy involved in the petition is covered by the judgment and order dated 02.09.2021 passed by this court in Writ Petition No.8410(SS) of 2021.

4. In view of the aforesaid, this petition is disposed of with a direction to opposite party Nos.2 to 7 to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion from the date similarly situated constables immediately junior to the petitioner have been promoted to the post of Head Constable. Such consideration should be given within a period of six weeks from today. If it is found that some junior(s) to the petitioner, who has been transferred from P.A.C. to Armed Police, has been given promotion on the post of Head Constable, the petitioner shall be given all consequential benefits from the date his immediate junior(s) has/have been promoted.
