Heard Mr. Rishabh Agarwal, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.

Keeping in view the nature of relief sought in this petition, issuance of notice to the respondent is dispensed herewith.

The petitioner has approached this court seeking a direction to the learned Court of Additional District Judge, Court No.14, Agra for expeditious disposal of Review Petition No.492 of 2018; Mahesh Chand Verma Vs. Raheesh Ahmad, arising out of Rent Control Appeal No.71 of 2017.

The aforesaid review petition has been filed by the respondent seeking review of judgment and order dated 08.10.2018, passed by learned Additional District Judge, Agra in P.A. Appeal No.71 of 2017. The application is pending since 23.10.2018 and a perusal of order sheet shows that the case is being adjourned repetitively without any proceeding.

Keeping in view the aforesaid, the petition is allowed with a direction to the learned Court below to consider and decide the Review Petition No.492 of 2018; Mahesh Chand Verma Vs. Rahees Ahmad expeditiously without granting any unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties, in accordance with law, say, within a period of six months from the date a certified copy of this order is placed before the Court concerned.
