The present appeal under Section 374 (2) Cr.P.C has been preferred by the appellant against the judgment and order dated 5.9.1984 passed in S.T. No. 117 of 1984.

As per the office report dated 13.2.2023, a report of C.J.M., Chitrakoot dated 5.5.2022 has been received stating therein that the sole appellant Sheo Prasad has died. The said report has been sent after due inquiry.

This Court has perused the said report which states that the accused-appellant Sheo Prasad has died.

In view of the above, the appeal stands abated.

File consigned to records.

Office to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge, concerned within two weeks.
