Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioners argues that the issue raised in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the decision of this Court passed in Writ-A No. 2524 of 2020 (Dharam Raj Vs. State of U.P. and Another), decided on 24.11.2022.

As the issue raised is similar, the present petition is disposed of on the same terms and conditions as contained in the judgment dated 24.11.2022. The directions issued therein shall apply to the case of the petitioners also.
