1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.

2. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the writ petition is finally disposed off.

3. Instant writ petition has been filed praying for a direction to respondent no.1 to grant the age relaxation to the petitioners in pursuance of letter sent by respondents no.3 and 4 considering Rule 3 of the Age Relaxation Rules, 1992 as well as the judgment of this Court passed in the case of Deoki Nandan and others vs. State of U.P. and others in Writ-A No.54923 of 2017 decided on 28.05.2018.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioners after arguing at some length submits that with regard to the relief sought in the writ petition, the petitioners may be permitted to submit a fresh representation before respondent no.1 which may be directed to be decided within a time frame fixed by this Court to which learned Standing Counsel has no objection.

5. In view of the above, it is provided that in case the petitioners submit a representation within two weeks from today before respondent no.1 then respondent no.1 shall endevour to decide the same by means of a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of three months from the date of submission of the representation along with certified copy of this order.

6. With the aforesaid direction, writ petition is disposed off.

7. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the case.
