This Court has passed the order dated 26.04.2023, which reads as under:-

"Heard.

Issue notice to respondent to show cause as to why the proceedings for contempt of the Court be not initiated against him for non-compliance of the judgment and order dated 17.09.2022 passed in Criminal Misc. Writ Petition No.6876 of 2022.

List as fresh on the date to be fixed by the office in the notice.

The authorities while serving notice on the respondent/contemnor shall strictly adhere to the directions issued by this Court vide order dated 07.06.2021 in Contempt No.670 of 2021 in re: Syed Amjad Husain vs. Navneet Sahgal, Additional Chief Secretary, Info. & Public Relation, Lucknow and another."

Sri Amrendra Pratap Singh, learned Standing Counsel has produced a copy of letter dated 12.07.2023 preferred by Sri S.B. Siradkar, Commissioner of Police, Lucknow indicating therein that in the case in question the police report has been filed. The copy of letter dated 12.07.2023 is taken on record.

Since this Court vide order dated 17.09.2022 directed the Investigating Officer to conclude the investigation and submit report under Section 173 (2) Cr.P.C. and the police report has already been filed as indicated in the letter dated 12.07.2023, therefore, nothing remains to survive in this contempt petition.

Accordingly, the instant contempt petition is dismissed.

The notice stands discharged.
