Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sarveshwar Lal Tiwari, learned counsel for the respondent.
Petitioners by the instant petition seek the following relief:
"i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 3 to decide the application/representation dated 05.01.2017 submitted in view of the judgment/order dated 14.12.2016 passed by this Hon'ble Court in Writ-C No. 10009 of 2016 inre Ramesh Chandra Gupta and others Vs. State of U.P. and others within stipulated period."
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the representation of the petitioners shall be considered by the third respondent, Collector/District Magistrate, Bareilly.
In view thereof, on consent, the writ petition is disposed of directing the third respondent, Collector/District Magistrate, Bareilly, to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners, in accordance with law, by a reasoned and speaking order, expeditiously preferably within eight weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, after hearing all the aggrieved parties.
It is clarified that the Court has not considered the rival contentions of the parties on merit.
