Sri S.B. Maurya, learned State counsel is present, who has been heard.

The present appeal has been filed by the appellant Ram Singh Verma against the judgment and order dated 15.11.2003 passed by Special Judge (CBI)/Additional Sessions Judge, Ghaziabad in Special Case No. 3 of 2002, Police Station CBI, Dehradun, District Dehradun.

As per office report dated 27.09.2022 a report from C.J.M. concerned was called for regarding living status of the appellant in present appeal. In compliance of the said order, C.J.M. concerned vide letter dated 20.09.2022 informed that the appellant-Ram Singh Verma has died in December, 2021. In support of which a report of concerned police station and the copy of death certificate issued by village pradhan have also been annexed thereto.

Accordingly, the appeal stands abated.

Office is directed to communicate this order to the District and Sessions Judge concerned within two weeks from today.
