1. This matter is taken up out of turn on a mention made by learned counsel for applicant.
2. This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed to expedite the trial in Case No. 945 of 2017 (Ram Ashish Pandey vs. Ramlolarak), under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act, Police Station Line Bazar, District Jaunpur.
3. Learned counsel for applicant submits that trial under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act is pending for last two years, which is against the direction passed by Supreme Court In Re: Expeditious Trial of Cases under Section 138 N.I. Act, 1881, 2021 SCC OnLine SC 325. He further submits that initially accused has appeared, however, later on he is not appearing and even non-bailable warrant was issued.
4. In view of above, the application is disposed of with the direction to Trial Court to take all coercive measures for appearance of accused and thereafter conclude trial expeditiously, taking note of above referred judgment of Supreme Court.
