The instant criminal appeal has been preferred by the appellant, namely , Ram Lout Singh against the judgment and order dated 14.08.2002 passed by learned Special Judge, SC/ST (Anti Corruption) Act/Additional Sessions Judge, Sultanpur in Sessions Trial No. 108 of 1995 arising out of Case Crime No. 222 of 1994, under Sections 323 IPC and 3(1)(X) SC/ST Act, Police Station Chanda, District Sultanpur convicting and sentencing the appellant under Section 3(1)(X) SC/ST Act, to undergo six months rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 500/- and in default of the payment of fine, two months rigorous imprisonment and under Section 323 IPC, to undergo six months rigorous imprisonment. All the sentences were to run concurrently.
Vide order dated 19.07.2021, bailable warrant was issued against the appellant.
Pursuant to the said order dated 19.07.2021, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sultanpur has submitted a report dated 28.09.2021 to the Deputy Registrar (Criminal) of this Court, which is on record, mentioning therein that the appellant, namely, Ram Lout Singh has died on 14.07.2021.
In view of the above, the instant criminal appeal stands abated.
