List has been revised but nobody is present on behalf of the applicants whereas Shri Ved Prakash Dwivedi, learned Standing is present on behalf of State.

The applicants are before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceedings against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 21.07.2016 passed in Writ Petition No. 33177 of 2016 (Krishna Kumar Bharti and 26 others vs. State of U.P. and others).

From perusal of the record, it appears that either the order of the writ Court has been complied with or the parties have lost their interest.

In the circumstances, it is needless to keep pending this contempt application.

In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed.

However, in case, any relief still survives in the present application, the applicants shall be at liberty to file application for revival of the present application.
