Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned A.G.A., and perused the record.

This petition under Article 227 has been filed with a prayer to quash the impugned judgment and order dated 24.11.2021 passed by I-Addl. Sessions Judge, Jaunpur in Criminal Revision No. 118 of 2021 (Chandashekhar and others Vs. State of U.P. and another as well as summoning order dated 7.10.2020 passed by Judicial Magistrate-I, Jaunpur in Complaint Case No. 2048 of 2019 (Usha Devi Vs. Chandrashekhar and others), under sections 323, 504, 506 498-A IPC and section 3/4 D.P. Act, P.S. Sujanganj, District Jaunpur.

After arguing the case lastly, counsel for the petitoiners prays that the matter may be sent to mediation.

With the consent of both the parties, it is directed that both the parties appear before the court below and file application for settling the dispute through mediation. In case such an application is filed before the court below for settling the dispute through mediation, the court concerned shall pass an appropriate order within a week from the date of filing such an application. The mediation center will decide the same within a period of four months.

for a period of five months, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioners in the above mentioned case.

It is further directed that in case mediation process between the parties fails, the court below shall be free to proceed further with the matter against the petitioners and in case mediation succeeds, the petitioners shall be free to approach this Court.

With the above observation, this petition is disposed of.
