1. Heard Sri Vivek Prakash Mishra, learned counsel for the applicant.

2. It is submitted that the order of the writ Court dated 17.12.2021 passed in Public Interest Litigation (Civil) No.29763 of 2021 has not been complied in as much as the opposite parties were directed to decide the representation of the petitioner in light of the judgment of Ram Lakhan vs. State of U.P. and others passed in Public Interest Litigation No.53946 of 2017 within a period of eight weeks. It is stated that the said order was not complied and hence the present contempt petition has been preferred.

3. Sri G. K. Singh, learned Additional Chief Standing counsel submits that he has received instructions in this regard that the representation of the applicant has been duly considered and decided by Assistant Records Officer, Unnao by means of order dated 21.2.2022. While deciding the said representation it has been observed that gata No.4 is not registered as a pond as alleged by the applicant and it is a government land. Copy of the order dated 21.2.2022 has been supplied to counsel for the applicant.

4. Considering that by passing the order dated 21.2.2022 the Assistant Records Officer has decided the representation of the applicant, it cannot be said that the opposite party has disobeyed the order of this Court. The contempt petition is accordingly dismissed.

5. However, liberty is granted to the applicant that in case he is aggrieved, he may file appropriate proceedings before appropriate forum.
