It is said by learned Standing Counsel for the State that the matter pertains to election and objection dated 22.03.2021 raised by the petitioner. According to Standing Counsel, elections are already over and this petition, therefore, can be said to have become infructuous.

This petition is, accordingly, dismissed as infructuous.

However, if the petitioner gives instruction to his counsel that he wants a judgment on merits, this petition may be revived after intimation to the counsel for the other side.
