The present contempt application has been filed under Section 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act for punishing the Opposite Parties for willful disobedience of the judgment and order dated 09.03.2018 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No. 5125 of 2018 (Baba Shobha Mani Laghu Madhyamik Vidyalaya vs. State of U.P. and others).

Affidavit of compliance has been filed on behalf of opposite party no. 1 wherein it has been stated that on 31.12.2019, order of writ Court has been complied with and an order has been passed by opposite party no. 1 deciding the representation of the applicants pursuant to the direction of this Court dated 09.03.2018. Copy of the said order has been brought on record as Annexure-1 to the affidavit of compliance.

In view of above, the order of writ Court has been complied with and no cause of action survives.

The contempt petition is consigned to record.

It is needless to say that if any cause of action survives, the applicants have the remedy to approach the appropriate forum.
