Heard learned counsel for parties.
The sole prayer which is addressed on this writ petition is for payment of gratuity in respect of services rendered by the father of the petitioner. As per the disclosures made in the writ petition, the father was to attain the age of superannuation on 04 July 2013. He is stated to have exercised the option to retire at the age of 60 years by submitting the requisite form on 24 April 2013. It is in the aforesaid backdrop that learned counsel refers to and relies upon the judgment of the Court rendered in Smt. Ranjana Kakkar v. State of U.P. And others [2008(10) ADJ 63] to submit that the denial of gratuity is without any justification.
Sri Nand Kishore Singh learned counsel representing the fourth respondent states that subject to verification of the aforesaid facts the claim of the petitioner shall be considered and disposed of in accordance with law and a final decision communicated with expedition and preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order.
Accordingly this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted and recorded above.
