Heard Sri Abhay Kumar Dixit, learned counsel for the petitioner and Ms. Meghna Tandon, Advocate holding brief of Sri Gaurav Mehrotra, learned counsel for the opposite parties.

The submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the statutory appeal of the petitioner is pending before the Registrar General of this Court at Allahabad with effect from 24.09.2014, which is contained as Annexure No.3 to the writ petition, and no decision has been taken by the Appellate Authority till date.

On being asked about the status of the appeal, learned counsel for the opposite parties prays for and is granted a week's time to seek instructions in the matter.

However, it is expected that if the appeal of the petitioner is pending with effect from 24.09.2014 and the same has been filed strictly in accordance with law and as per the provisions of law, it should have been decided finally at the earliest.

List this case on 02.08.2018.
