It is contended on behalf of the learned counsel for the petitioner that the issue involves in this case has already been set at rest by this Court in its judgment which has been affirmed by the Supreme Court vide order dated 18.11.2014 passed in Special Leave to Appeal No.9968-9969 of 2008 filed against the order of this Court dated 03.10.2007.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the Director, SCERT in a Contempt Petition No.2189 of 2015 has stated that he has sought a direction from the State Government for compliance of the order of the Supreme Court. He has sent a communication to the State Government for the appropriate decision. It is stated that the State Government is yet to take a decision.

Learned Standing Counsel may seek instruction from the State Government.
