Heard Sri Diptiman Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner.

This is a petition arising out of recovery proceedings of sugarcane price related matter.

The issue relating to the payment of cane price to the farmers has been taken up in a Public Interest Litigation being Writ Petition No.29523 of 2014 by the Bench presided over by Hon'ble the Chief Justice was pleased to pass the order on 01.07.2014.

We find from the order passed that the recovery is now being monitored under the said order to ensure the payment of cane dues to the farmers. Consequently, it would be appropriate that this matter and other connected matters may be heard by the same Bench in order to avoid any possible inconsistency in the orders in relation to the realisation of the amount for being released to the farmers.

Consequently, let this writ petition along with the other connected writ petitions be placed before Hon'ble the Chief Justice for passing appropriate orders and to be heard simultaneously along with the Public Interest Litigation which is stated to be fixed on 12th August, 2014.
