This petition seeks initiation of proceedings under the Contempt of Courts' Act 1971 against the respondent for willful obedience of order dated 18.3.2013 rendered in Writ Petition No.1468 (SS) of 2013.
It has been asserted that the petitioner has not been paid pension, although the petitioner retired in the year 2009.
Notice has been accepted by Sri I.P. Singh, Advocate, who is Standing Counsel for U.P. Jal Nigam.
List on 19.8.2013.
In case, the order has not been complied, the needful be done positively before the next date of listing or else, the respondent would be required to show cause as to why proceedings under the Contempt of Courts' Act be not initiated.
It is further made clear that in case counter affidavit is not filed, costs amounting to Rs.5000/- (Five thousand only) shall be imposed, to be recovered from the officer/official, who is found responsible for causing delay in the proceedings.
