Ans. Yes, I am the first-generation lawyer.

Q3. When did you decide to pursue law as a profession and why?

Ans. As I have very much interest in law from childhood and after doing my master degree I decided to do LL.B. As I have very much interest in working for the public. When I was child I had seen may times that decision of panchayat is most of the time biased and this provoke me to opt this profession.

Q4. How was your experience in Law School?

Ans. As law itself is interesting profession. I did my LL. B from Meerut college, Meerut.  At my time the college run in two shifts in morning and evening shift. As at that time law is not on demand only the people who have interest in law would only opt for law. I opt for day shift and there was semester system. I had enjoyed studying my subject as I have very much interest in it.

Q5. How do you think that Law School education has changed since then?

Ans. Nowadays legal profession is in more demand people. There is ability of college which can help the student of every strata to opt this. Earlier people only see only one line of legal profession but nowadays there is law firms, legal advisor post in bank and big companies. As law is not permanent it always gets amended as per the need of society. Many laws are made.

Q6. Would you like to share any experience of your first day/case in court?

Ans. Yes sure, as the first step in profession is always remarkable. As I started my practice from Bijnor, District Court. The case of illegal arms was going and I was continuously working on the Section 25 of Arms Act as my senior has said me to do complete research over it I was bit nervous but someone has well said,’ till you not fell how would learn to walk alone’.

Q7. Please share two or three memorable cases you dealt in your professional journey?

Ans. In Dehradun District court, in the case of State v. Ram Lakhan I was appointed as government advocate that was a murder case in sudhowala, Dehradun. A man has killed 3 women of his family and he has illicit relation with his niece. The Dehradun district court has given death penalty to that man.

Second case was based on the POCSO Act. A man had done second marriage the age of bride is not 18 that means she was minor and he forced her to make a physical relation with her. The name of the case was State v. Sundip Thapar.

Q8. Difference between studying law and practicing it?Ans. Both are different aspect studying law is only completed when you know its application in practical life. Not every person had the knowledge of law in fact the person who is in that profession knows about that thing far better.

We study everything but we don’t apply it so strictly we become a bit lenient while applying it. And law is something like more u practice more you get to know about it because interpretation of law of every person is not same.

Like you might be known about the recent judgement of Justice Chandrachud, he overrules the 33-year-old judgment of his father striking down section 497 of IPC.

Q9. What according to you are the areas where legal system in our country need to improve?

Ans. According to me there is the need of more appointment of judges as many seats are vacant and this is a reason about the pendency of case. Time to time there is need to held seminar kind of for the advocates. Appointment of government advocate should be done by the authority strictly following the rules. Ratio of court is not sufficient as per the population.

Q10. What is your wisdom and success mantra for young legal professionals?

Ans. What I see in new generation they are not punctual they come late and don’t want to work. They in a minute satisfy themselves that they know everything. So, I only want to say don’t be in hurry give time to your profession then only you get to know. Work hard as per your capabilities not see others and try to run to grab them everyone has thereon capabilities.
