ABOUT THE ORGANISER

ARMY LAW COLLEGE was established in July 2018. It is affiliated to “Savitribai Phule Pune University”.

ABOUT THE COMPETITION

ALC Pune is organizing First Army Law College Pune National Elocution Competition 2019 on 21st December 2019 (Saturday) at ALC Campus Pune.

Note: Army Law College will provide for free Breakfast & Lunch for all participants on the day of the competition i.e. 21st December 2019. Free Dinner on 21st December and free breakfast on 22nd December morning will be provided only for outstation participants.

Free accommodation (only for Outstation Participants) will be provided by ALC Pune in its hostels situated on the ALC campus for 2 nights from 20th December 2019 evening to 22nd December 2019 morning. No TA/DA shall be paid.

ELIGIBILITY

Any student pursuing 5-Year Integrated B. A, LL. B or B.B. A, LL. B or B. Com, LL. B Programme from any recognized Law College/Law School in India shall only be eligible to participate in the Competition.

TOPIC

The Freedom of Press and Electronic Media in India: Myth or Reality.

TEAM SIZE AND OTHER INFORMATION

Each Law College/Law School can nominate a minimum one and maximum of three students to participate in the elocution competition.

PRIZES

First Prize: Rs 30,000, Trophy and Certificate; Second Prize: Rs 20,000, Trophy and Certificate; Third Prize: Rs 10,000, Trophy and Certificate

LOCATION

Sai Baba Seva Dham, Old Pune Mumbai National Highway, Kanhe, Maval, Pune-412106 (Maharashtra), India.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

Registrations will open on 22nd November 2019 (11 am onwards) and Close on 28th November 2019 (5 pm). Only the first 25 students registering via email along with a scanned copy of nomination letter signed by the Principal/Director/Vice-Chancellor on or after 22nd November 2019 (11 am onwards) but before 28th November 2019 (5 pm), shall be permitted to participate in the competition.

The student participants are required to register by sending an email along with a scanned copy of the official nomination letter at manishashinde.alc[@]gmail.com. Please mention the name of the participant student/s, his/her/their address, mobile number and email ID.

FEE DETAIL

Only Rs 500 (per student participant) payable after the registration is confirmed on 29th November, 2019. A Demand draft of Rs 500 drawn in favour of “Army Law College, Pune” payable at Pune should reach us through courier/speed post/by hand before 14th December 2019.

DEADLINES

Registrations will open on 22nd November 2019 (11 am onwards) and close on 28th November 2019 (5 pm). No mail for registration sent before 22nd November 2019 (11 am) shall be considered.

The list of the first 25 students successfully registering for the competition, will be published on 29th November 2019.
