Swaraj Sabha is an intellectual discussion platform to reinstate the atmosphere of dialogue, discussion and debate over contemporary issues prevailing in the society wherein experts of various fields are invited to share their wisdom and experiences with the participants.
In the contemporary Indian society, especially with the conventional and social media realm, discussions and debates revolve around issues like Secularism, Uniform Civil Code (UCC), Hindu Rashtra, Government control of Hindu temples, Minorities and their rights, Reservation etc., yet the single most important underlying document that plays a crucial role, Constitution, is often neglected and/or misinterpreted.
The Constitution is the governing document of a nation, the base of all decisions, yet, it depends on the
interpretations and/or the judgements of the honorable judges. In purview of the above, the process of discussions, debates, contradictions, defining and redefining the various provisions of Constitution should be open to get a proper understanding of the Constitution.
The correct interpretations of the Constitution should reach to all citizens who are not the experts of Constitution. Thus, Youth Awakening Mission opens up this process through a seminar, ‘Swaraj Sabha’, where erudites and various legal experts will discuss and debate the multitudes of Constitution; initiating
the understanding and knowledge of typical, complicated yet essential socio-political issues.
