About Law Society Review

The Law Society Review, published annually by the Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, provides a platform for teachers, practitioners, researchers, and students to engage in critical discussion on contemporary legal and policy issues at both national and international levels. The 2026 edition invites original submissions on the theme “Global Justice in Transition: Law, Reform, and Accountability in the 21st Century.”

It seeks to explore how shifting legal, technological, environmental, and humanitarian contexts are reshaping the meaning and pursuit of justice. Authors are encouraged to examine questions of reform, rights, and responsibility across jurisdictions and legal traditions, reflecting on the challenges of accountability in a rapidly transforming global order.

Accepted papers will be published in an edited book format carrying an ISBN number, under the Law Society Review (2026 Edition). This special publication aims to advance rigorous and reflective scholarship that reconsiders the foundations of justice and legal reform in the twenty first century.
