About TCLPP Blog

The Constitutional Law & Public Policy Blog (TCLPP) is an initiative of the Gender Champions Society, RMLNLU, that provides a platform for clear, evidence-based and well-argued writing on topics at the intersection of constitutional law, gender, equality, and public policy.

We publish incisive, readable pieces that connect legal doctrine with real-world policy outcomes and social contexts. Our aim is to stimulate debate, spotlight under-discussed issues, and encourage contributions from a wide range of voices.

Themes & Topics

We invite submissions on constitutional law, public policy, gender, equality, human rights, judicial analysis, statutory interpretation, socio-legal research, legislative reform, and related intersections (including comparative and international perspectives). Suggested (not exhaustive) topics include:

  • Constitutional interpretation and landmark judgments
  • Fundamental rights, equality and affirmative action
  • Gender, sexuality and law
  • Public law responses to public health, environment, privacy and technology
  • Policy critiques and legislative reform proposals
  • Socio-legal, empirical or doctrinal pieces with clear policy implications

Contributions that interrogate the practical impact of law and policy and offer novel insights or constructive critique are especially welcome.
