An Act to repeal to Punjab Lokpal Act, 1995.
Be it enacted by Legislature of State of Punjab in the Forty-Seventh Year of the Republic of India as follows :-
- Short title and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Lokpal (Repeal) Act, 1996.
(2) It shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from the 10th day of December, 1996.
- Repealing of Punjab Act 9 of 1995.- The Punjab Lokpal Act, 1995 (Punjab Act 9 of 1995) is hereby repealed.
- Repeal.- The Punjab Lokpal Act (Repeal) Ordinance, 1996 (Punjab Ordinance No. 3 of 1996) is hereby also repealed.
