About the Internship

Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Conducting legal research and analysis
• Blog/article writing
• Agreement vetting and drafting
• Compliance and due diligence

Eligibility

• Candidates in their 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year of law school shall apply.
• Prior corporate and commercial law experience is preferred, although not a pre- requisite.
• Candidates should have the ability to do independent legal research and analysis.
• Candidates should be acquainted with various citation styles, such as Bluebook and McGill.
• Candidates should be acquainted with MS Word.

• Duration: 1 month (Extendable on performance)

Work or writing samples are necessary for the application. The work/writing samples may relate to corporate/ commercial law or any other area of law. The writing samples can be articles, research papers, research projects, etc. It should depict your ability to do critical legal research and analysis.

The word limit should not exceed 2000 words. AI-generated content is strictly prohibited in the application process. Plagiarism shall be checked of each suitable candidate before selection. If more than 10% plagiarism is found, the candidate will be barred from the candidature and the selection process.
