Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. acts on InsuranceDekho’s USD 150 Million Series A Fund Raise

Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co. acted on USD 150 million Series A fund of InsuranceDekho which is the largest Series A fundraise for an InsurTech startup in South Asia and South East Asia. 

The transaction team was led by Abhishek Dubey, Partner and Mayank Malhotra, Principal Associate. The firm advised CarDekho on the transaction – which is the holding company and sponsor of InsuranceDekho. 

The funding was led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management and TVS Capital Fund. Investcorp, Avataar Venture Partners, and LeapFrog Investments also participated in the funding round. 

Bharucha & Partners advised InsuranceDekho. Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Goldman Sachs. Khaitan & Co. advised TVS Capital Fund and Investcorp. LeapFrog Investments was represented by its in-house legal team.
