Mumbai-headquartered Vertices Partners has recently merged with boutique Ray Menon Law, had opened in Gurgaon and made Shraddha Ray Menon (the owner of Ray), a Partner.
Vertices had operated from Mumbai since it set up in 2016 by three Economic Laws Practice (ELP) alumnus, while RML had started in Gurgaon in 2013.
Talking about Ray Menon, She is a 1996 Symbiosis Pune Grad and a Chevening Scholar and had been Coca Cola's in-house Lawyer for seven years before she started out on her own.
She had started her Career for three years with Thakker & Thakker, followed by short stints at AZB & Partners and Kochhar & Co.
She specializes in Corporate Governance, Risk Mitigation, Compliance Alignments and Transactions, Data Privacy, Human Resources and Employment Laws including Sexual Harassment prevention training for Corporates.
The Gurgaon Office is based in a WeWork Campus.
Vertices' Managing Partner Vinayak Burman and Co-Founding Partners Archana Khosla and Amit Vyas commented, “Vertices has seen a very interesting growth phase, given that we started in 2016 when it was a supposed downturn and now we are expanding in 2019, which again is a supposed down-turn."

With the merger taking place, Vertices Partners is now a 5-Partner Firm, including Co-Founders Burman, Khosla, Vyas, and Partners Jeet Sengupta and Menon. The firm now has 30 Lawyers in Mumbai and Gurugram.
