“Bribing“ slur by Haryana Cong. against Justice S N Dhingra Commission to save Vadra backfires

J. Dhingra said, if request for a Village Road is a favour or bribe, I would like to get more of such favours.

Justice (retd) S N Dhingra is heading the one-member panel for probing the infamous land deal between realty major DLF and Vadra's company, in addition to granting of licences to seveal property dealers in Gurgaon.

Just a day ago senior 6 time Congress MLA Ajay Singh Yadav made an allegation accusing BJP has “bribed“ Justice (retd) S N Dhingra so as to indict party chief Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law Robert Vadra.

Instead of denying anything the former Delhi HC judge on Friday took a bold step and accepted that he had actually asked the Gurgaon Collector for construction of a village road to connect a school being set up by a trust headed by him.

Justice Dhingra stated that if this request is a favour or bribe, I would like to get more of such favours for all the villages of Haryana.

Justice Gopal Singh Public Charitable Trust, headed by Justice Dhingra released a separate statement that if request for the upliftment of villages is a 'bribe', then the Trust is ready to accept the allegation.

The Haryana government has yesterday extended J.Dhingra's probe by six week extension as he had received some more documents.

To this, Congress spokesman has said that BJP is acting with malice by making J. Dhingra a political tool.“
