In wake of the ongoing pnademic situation, the Bar Council of India has decided to postpone the All India Bar Examination (AIBE).
As per the announcement, now the Exam will be conducted on January 24, 2021.
Inter alia, the date of submitting applications for the exam has also been extended accordingly till December 03, 2020.
AIBE was previously going to be held on August 16 but noting the "present pandemic situation and frequent lockdown, increasing number of Corona patients daily", the BCI decided to postpone the date of the examination and it was later scheduled the Exam for November 8th, 2020.
Now again the Bar Council of India has again revised the schedule taking into consideration the present situation pertaining to pandemic.

Online registration had begun from 16th May, 2020
Desirous candidates can apply for bar exams till 3rd December, 2020.
Online payments for application will remain open until 10th December, 2020.
Candidates may complete their online form by 15th December, 2020.
Admit cards will be released on 5th January, 2021.

Notably, AIBE is an open book exam conducted twice every year which a lawyer needs to pass before being admitted to the bar and is essential for law practice everywhere.
Note: The abovementioned dates are subject to modifications, if any, as may be notified by the BCI in case of unavoidable circumstances.
