Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is a public management school and an Institute of National Importance located in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.Founded in 1973, it was the third IIM to be established, after IIM Calcutta and IIM Ahmedabad.
The Centre for Public Policy (CPP) at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) ic calling for submissions from researchers, practitioners and policymakers to the XIV International Conference on Public Policy and Management, to be held on August 22-24, 2019 at the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore.
The interdisciplinary conference draws scholars representing a diversity of perspectives on public policy issues; and provides a forum for showcasing the latest developments in policy research and practice.
The conference typically hosts academic sessions, topical policy debates, workshops, panel discussions and practitioner-oriented discussions on contemporary topics in public policy and management.
Researchers, Practitioners and Policymakers.
Theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome. Submissions in other areas are also welcome on Law and Governance.
Contributors can submit either a full paper (around 8,000 words) or propose a specific panel session with multiple papers. The full papers should be around 8,000 words with an abstract of 300 words. Only abstract submissions will not be reviewed.
A specific panel session proposal should have a minimum of three and a maximum of four research papers on a specific topic. The proposal should have an abstract of each paper (300 words maximum) plus an overarching description of the panel and its importance, not exceeding one A4 page.
For papers in languages other than English, translated copies for all submissions are mandatory.

CPP will provide up to 10 travel grants to doctoral student presenters, who are registered as full-time students in Indian Universities.
The grant will cover a domestic round trip airfare (cheapest economy class), accommodation, food, and registration fees.
Accommodation via the grant will be provided at IIMB’s guest house on campus on a twin sharing basis. The grants will be awarded on a competitive basis. The selection committee’s decision is final.
If you wish to be considered for a travel grant, please indicate the same in your paper submission.
If you are nominated for a grant, you will have to submit proof of full-time registration status and a letter from your institution mentioning that no other funding has been received to attend this conference.
