About the University

Career Point University, Hamirpur was established by the Government of Himachal Pradesh vide Act No. 12 of 2012 under Sec2 (f) of the UGC Act 1956. The University is empowered by the UGC, a statutory body of Government of India, for the award of degree under Section 22 of the UGC Act 1956.

The School of Legal Studies and Governance was set up by the University in 2014 in which B.A.LL.B program is offered to students. Since 2015, the postgraduate program in law i.e LLM is also being offered.

About the National Seminar

Career Point University, School of Legal Studies and Governance is organising a National Seminar on Child Protection and Child Rights: Socio-Economic, Legal and Cultural Dimensions on 4th April 2020.

Guidelines for Submission

Authors shall submit an abstract of their research articles/empirical studies/case studies in about 300 words along with the particulars of the author indicating his email id, contact number and address for correspondence. A paper cannot have more than two co-authors. The length of the full papers should not exceed 5000 words.

A uniform style of citation must be strictly adhered to while submitting the paper. It must be typed in Times New Roman font Size 12 on A4 size paper with 1” margin on all sides and 1.5 line spacing using MS Word. Selected papers shall be published in the form of a book with ISBN number.
