About the Journal:

The International Journal of Justice (IJJ), having ISSN No.: 2583-5475 (O) provides a forum for a diverse legal scholarship authored by legal scholars, academicians, practitioners, and law students. IJJ intends to serve as the premier law publication focus on law and justice issues. The Journal aspires to publish content that sets the cutting edge of both international and national issues, exploring novel arguments, problems, and solutions to advance justice in the world. The IJJ is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal. 

After the success of the past editions, the International Journal of Justice is coming out with the 1st Issue of Volume 4.

IDRC is also registered with NITI Aayog and empanelled with the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India. It was inaugurated by Justice A.K. Sikri, former Judge of the Supreme Court of India. The IDRC provides a unique blend of offline and online ADR platforms and has indigenously developed e-ADR software.

Eligibility Criteria:
Authors may be Legal Scholars, Academicians, Legal Practitioners or Law Students.

Categories for submission of Papers:

1. Research Papers: 5000 – 10000 words
2. Articles/Essays: 2000 – 5000 words
3. Book Reviews: 1500 – 2500 words
4. Legislative Comment/Case Analysis: 1000 – 2000 words

For Single Author: ₹500
*For two or more co-authors, the charges shall be ₹1000

Certificates
A ‘Certificate of Publication’ will be issued to all the authors whose submissions are selected for publication. Apart from the Certificate of Publication, certain shortlisted authors may be issued a ‘Certificate of Merit’ for their exceptional submissions.

Guidelines for Submission:

1. Original Content - The submission must be an original work of the author/s. The submission must not be previously published or currently under review for publication at any other platform and may not be submitted to another platform while in the process of review with us. A disclosure regarding your paper not being shared elsewhere for publication is required in the cover letter.
2. Collaborative Submissions - A submission could be a collaborative work of a maximum of three authors.
3. Non-derogatory content - Submission should not contain any derogatory or defamatory statements against any individual or institution.
4. Abstract - Submission of research papers and articles must be accompanied by an abstract of not more than 200 words.
5. Footnote formatting - The footnoting is to be done in accordance with the 21^st Edition of the Bluebook Citations.
6. Copyright - Copyright over the published content shall vest solely with the “International Journal of Justice”.
7. Anonymous Submission - A separate cover letter mentioning the name(s) of the author(s), e-mail ID, mobile number, the title of the manuscript and the name of the institution shall be sent along with the submission. There should be no mention of the author's name or any other identity in the original manuscript.
8. Author’s Photo - Authors can submit their coloured/black & white passport-size photo in .jpg or .jpeg format as an attachment in the email.
9. Submission Format - All submissions must be made in .doc or .docx format.

Guidelines for Formatting:
All submissions must strictly adhere to the following formatting guidelines. The Editorial Board reserves the right to reject submissions after a preliminary review if the prescribed formatting guidelines are not adhered to.

For the body of the Manuscript:
Font                  : Times New Roman
Font size          : 12 pts.
Line spacing    : 1.5
Alignment        : Justified

For Footnotes:
Font                 : Times New Roman
Font Size         : 10 pts.
Line Spacing   : 1

Footnoting: For all the categories of submissions, proper footnotes and citations are mandatory. Submissions should not contain any hyperlinks.

Submit your paper via email to submissions@theijj.com with the subject “Submission of (mention the category) for the IJJ (Issue 1 Vol. 4)” in Word format with a Cover Letter with your brief Introduction.
