The Moot Court Society of DME Law School invites participants to the JUSCOSMOS Moot Court Competition, 2025, a flagship event under Law Fest 2025. This competition challenges budding legal minds to engage with pressing issues in Human Rights through rigorous advocacy and research.

Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), affiliated with GGSIPU and approved by the Bar Council of India, is a premier institution fostering legal excellence since 2012. Known for its transformative education, DME has hosted national and international moot court competitions, judged by luminaries like Hon’ble Justice Bhanwar Singh and Adv, Dr. Adish C. Participants will tackle contemporary human rights challenges, emphasizing:

  • Freedom of Expression and Privacy
  • Access to Justice and Fair Trial
  • Rights of Vulnerable Populations

Eligibility: Students from BCI-recognized law schools in India (3/5-year LL.B. programs)
Team Composition: 2 speakers + 1 researcher per team (multiple teams allowed per institution)
Mode: Offline (DME Campus, Noida)

Memorial Submission

  • Soft Copy: 25th March 2025 (PDF via Google Form)
  • Hard Copy: 30th March 2025 (Post to DME Campus)
  • Penalty: 5 marks/day deduction for late submissions.

Category Prize

  • Winning Team: ₹30,000 + Trophy + Three (3) one-year complimentary subscription to SCC Online Web Edition to be distributed to the winning team worth Rs. 24,000 each. Total value = Rs. 72,000.
  • Category Prize: Runner-Up ₹20,000 + Trophy
  • Best Speaker: (Male/Female) ₹5,000 each + Trophy
  • Best Researcher: (Male/Female) ₹5,000 each + Trophy
  • Best Memorial: (BothSides) ₹5,000 each Trophy
  • All participants receive certificates.
