New-age Bollywood screenwriters can be inspired by this love story. A Police Constable of UP Police named Payal met dreaded gangster Rahul Tharasana during a Court hearing in Greater Noida in May 2014.
Surajpur Court is the place where the two fell in love, Tharasana was brought in there as the main accused in murder case of a trader named Manmohan Goyal. Payal was allegedly posted there.
During the dates of court, their love took a road which lead to marriage. As Tharasana shared photos of the wedding ceremony the world came to know about it, the wedding ceremony reportedly took place in March at an undisclosed location, with some of his friends via social media.
On Friday, it turned into an embarrassing situation for the U.P. Police. Tharasana is an accused in over a dozen cases of loot & murder, and supposed to be a part of the Anil Dujana gang.
The claim that the girl is a police constable is unverified, Vaibhav Krishna (Gautam Buddh Nagar), Senior Superintendent of Police tweeted.
SP (Rural) Kumar Ranvijay stated that it was still to be confirmed that the girl worked with the U.P. Police, “We have checked. Her name is not there in our office records. What I can confirm is that Rahul is a history-sheeter and is out on bail.”

On local reports that Payal was using her husband’s notoriety in his absence to influence people in their village in Greater Noida, where the family holds political clout, Mr. Singh said that he was getting it investigated. “We haven’t received any formal complaint so far,” he said.
